Nick Turned 26!!!!

so this past weekend was fun. friday night we celebrated nick and laura's birthdays at la huerta, i had a couple of yummy margaritas

then me and hannah milner went to see "he's just not that into you" which was a awesomely cute movie!

saturday i woke up at 7:30 left the house around 8:00 and had to run some errands, got a pedicure and my nails filled then went to pick up nicks birthday cake which i was SOOO happy with! it looked great! ricks bakery is the only place i'll get my birthday cakes!

later on in the day we headed to eureka springs. it was a lot of fun there, nick, fowler, hannah gideon and myself went together. we got a limosene which was really neat! i think nick had a good birthday!




we now also have a new adition to our family. we welcomed home "daisy" yesterday. i adopted her from a family that couldnt take her with them when they move to texas next week. she would have went to a "no-kill" animal shelter but i just feel so sorry for all the poor animals in there. last night was her first night at home with us and she is adjusting very well!

ethan is going to spend the night with "pops and gigi" on wednesday. my grandma called me at work today and asked if they could have ethan on wednesday night. ethan loves riding with "pops" on the 4-wheeler. they have such a great time. i am blessed to have grandparents as great as they are, and its special for a child to get to spend time with their great grandparents, lots dont get to do that.

ITS ALMOST FRIDAY!!!!!!

so this past weekend and week have been pretty good. last friday nick had the house all done up for me for my valentines day dinner at home. it was really sweet. we didnt expect to have ethan that night but we ended up having him which was fine and we worked around our plans and had a valentines day dinner all together. it was great being with both my boys! saturday we talked to tyler and hannah and decided to take the kids to chuckie cheese, it was fun for them ( and nick and tyler!) haha! we had a great time and the kids did too! i love getting them together to play with one another. yesterday was nicks birthday! we had dinner at his parents house and a cake, friday we're going to dinner with a group of friends because a couple other friends have birthdays in february so we're just knocking them out all together! we're going to la huerta to eat dinner, then the boys are going out and about for a few beers and such and i think that me and a couple of my girlfriends are going to the movies to see "he's just not that into you" i cant wait to see it!!! saturday we're going to eureka springs to celebrate just nicks birthday. we always have a great time in eureka so im sure it will be lots of fun! i hope to post pictures from the birthdays next week! well i guess thats all for now. i hope you all have a safe and happy weekend!!!! My Little Valentine.....

GOOD MORNING!!! happy early valentines day! we had a pretty eventful week getting ready for valentines for both my boys. i had goodie bags and valentines cards to get ready for ethans party at school today, and then nick and ethans goodies at home to prepare. hobby lobby and walmart should know me by name because i spent my fare share of time there this week. it was all well worth it though! i love getting crafty for special little things like school parties and such, its fun not only for me but for ethan as well. i made some home-made cards for ethan and nick with rubber stamps and textured envelopes that i cut with designed scissors, it was really fun and nick and ethan both enjoyed getting them. i got some baskets and filled them with red flashy raffia, candy, and they both got a movie they wanted as well as a small other gift, i got a gnome for nicks "man cave" and a spider man that ethan asked for. i got nick a couple of movies, and i got ethan the air-buds in space that he "needed" as he said. i also bought some canvas' and painted them for their "big" present. ethan loves to call the hogs so i made him one that says "woo pig sooie" to hang in his room, and i got a extra large canvas and painted it black with a big purple "e" for earles on it for our bedroom, since those are the colors(purple,black and silver) they both made out with a good valentines day i do think. well see whats in store for me when i get home. my valentines from nick is tonight, im excited to see whats going to happen! much love bo and ethan!!

so i decided to put a few pictures of my tatercake on here, i have so many silly nick-names for him, he is going to hate it when he is older-ha! im going to hobby lobby tonight to get some stuff for nick and ethans valentines day presents. ethan is wanting the "space buddies" dvd with the little golden retreivers in it so i think i'll get him that. he is definately mommy's little spoiled boy! god has blessed me with such a great gift and im ever so thankful!

Wonderful Weekend!

Hello again! so had a pretty eventful weekend this past one. friday nicks sister and 2 of her friends came home from arkanas tech for the weekend so we went to granny's and ate dinner with the family. and then the girls came over and watched a movie with us so that was fun. i didnt have ethan this weekend because he went to spend the weekend with his dad and new step-mom which is a really sweet girl so im happy about that, but anyways nick had to work also so i got to sleep in a bit which was great! i got up on saturday and got ready and went to springdale to run some errands. i had to do my taxes and get my nails filled. after all that i went home and nick was ready and we went to fayetteville for dinner at TGIFridays, then it was off to target we went! target is my ALL TIME favorite place i could possibly live there if they would let me! haha!so i got some new throw pillows for the couches and a new "henny bank" for ethan. also got a new water bottle and jump rope for the process to loose weight this month! nick and i are on a diet right now to get to our "wedding weight" as he says. im sure we'll reach our goals and i cant wait. starting it this morning im already feeling better! sunday we went for our sunday drive and then got back to huntsville and ate lunch with nikki and the girls before they headed back to tech. when we got home we did a little early spring cleaning. nick cleaned the outside and got all the old leave and stuff blown away as well as the limbs and branches put out by the street for the city to get picked up. i worked like a busy bee inside because i wanted everything clean before ethan came home. this weekend is gonna be a good one i think. nick has a surprise plan for friday night since ethan will be with his dad again, and surprisingly i have no idea what it is that he has planned. his birthday is coming up soon and the plans are in the works. ive already gotten some stuff done and i think he is really going to enjoy his birthday this year! its going to be great! we have pictures (nick, ethan and i) the end of this month, my friend andrea is going to take them and she takes some really good pictures for cheap! i think we're going to the shiloh museum in springdale they have a really old barn and house that are good for taking outdoor pictures by. its gonna be fun i cant wait! also nick and i have decided to take our vacation to chicago this year. he said something about going to see a baseball game but thats not for sure yet. his friend from michigan (justin) is going to meet us there. we couldnt quite afford to go to NYC like we really wanted to but chicago is a big city so we'll just settle for that. its a get-a-way atleast! well thats all for now! love bo and ethan!

SUPER BOWL 2009

so last sunday was the super bowl. the cardinal vs. the steelers. im sure you all know by now the steelers won. we had some friends over to the house. nate and laura, chris aka "fowler", andy, tyler and hannah,and nicks parents. unfortunately little julie ethans friend didnt get to come she was staying with her grandma that night. we had lots of food and we had a great time. nick made ribs, loaded cheese fries,and pizzas. i made a dessert called "puppy chow". all in all it was a great night with great friends. im blessed to have such people to call my friends! have a great week! love bo and ethan!
